In traditional hospitals, patients have to wait weeks or months to get the treatment they need. Here at Phoenix Spine, Dr. Dan Lieberman knew that he could provide premium care with minimal wait.
I’m a doctor if I had pain like that, it wouldn’t take me 6-12 weeks to get it treated. Why should my patients be any different?

Welcome to the Phoenix Spine Surgery Center in Goodyear, AZ. We are all here to be sure you have the best possible experience. We will welcome you by name, offer you a refreshing beverage, and help you relax before you see the doctor.
The next step in your care is consultation. Your physician will carefully examine you. Next they will share treatment plan with you. Bring your family, or anyone else who is important to you. If someone can’t be there, we can teleconference them in. Once every one of your questions is answered, you're ready to head to the next step.
Follow the winding path into what is called the injection suite.
Here in the injection suite we will use x-ray guidance to position a needle to block the most likely source of your pain. Once the pain is temporarily blocked, you and your surgeon can be very confident that the correct source of the pain has been identified.
Blocks generally last 2-3 hours. We will take into this very comfortable waiting room, which includes an outdoor garden with a putting green, for you to try out your block. Most of our guests are ready to leave in 15 minutes, but some will stay and have surgery the same day.
If the results of the block are excellent, then you're a good candidate for surgery. Our nurses will prepare you for your procedure in this preoperative area.
Most of our surgeries last between 30 min and 2 hours. During the surgery you will lay on a specially padded table, and be under constant care of your surgeon, anesthesiologist, and operating room nurse. Our anesthesiologists specialize in caring for patients with complex heart and lung problems.
Once you've fully recovered you'll be ready to leave our center. We thank you for the chance to care for you, and wish you well getting BACK IN THE GAME!
